Wyoming is subject to very adverse and sometimes very quickly changing weather conditions. Being aware of current road conditions and changing weather conditions are both necessary in ensure you and your loved ones travel safely. There are many good examples, such as the April 2015 I-80 incidents, that teach us to maintain that awareness so we make it through our travels safely.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation has a virtual map on their website showing current travel and road conditions. This map can be found here.
