As our department has evolved and grown over the years, we have changed our priorities and made moves to better serve the citizens and businesses in our community. Expanding our Fire and Life Safety Inspection program in the intent of Fire Prevention has been one of our major moves.
We want you to know that these are not intended to be a threatening thing. The purpose of these inspections is to help our community ensure they are following aspects of fire code that are based on science and statistics. We are not trying to shut anyone down or damage a business's reputation. These inspections will do nothing but help you in the undesired event of a fire and increase the chances of survival of citizens, your property, and the firefighters responding to your emergency.
For any inspection or code questions regarding Environmental Protection Agency items, you can contact us at (307) 632-1696 or contact the EPA directly here.
